Insulation faults and untimely tripping of earth leakage circuit breakers can sometimes endanger the system and even the user; such phenomena are frequently caused by leakage currents, which are often difficult to detect.
In addition to being the recognised solution for testing and maintenance professionals in industry and the service sector for finding insulation faults, the F65 pocket clamps provide a number of functions found in conventional clamp meters.

Thanks to their exceptional resolution (10 μA) and strong immunity (70 dB) to eddy currents, the F65 clamps are particularly suitable for measuring leakage currents that trigger earth leakage circuit breakers, cause imbalances between phase currents or circulate to earth.
The anti-harmonics filter facilitates the search for these faults on disturbed and power systems (power rectifiers, variable speed drives, inverters...).

The F65 is also a complete clamp multimeter: it measures currents up to 100 A, AC/DC voltage, frequency, resistance and continuity sound signal.
