Infrared thermometer, allows non-contact temperature measurement using infrared technology.
Ideal for measuring the surface temperature of an object or finding leaks along walls, pipes or other.
The automatic colour change feature allows intuitive and quick understanding of where to intervene with insulation or other.
This thermometer is fast, accurate in measurements and easy to use.
It has a display with different colours (red, green and blue) to indicate temperature differences:
- high (red colour) - appears when the indicated temperature is higher than the reference temperature by a value greater than the set threshold. in this mode the buzzer sound will also be activated as a warning;
- normal (green colour) - appears when the difference between the indicated temperature and the reference temperature does not exceed the set threshold;
- low (blue colour) - appears when the indicated temperature is lower than the reference temperature by more than the set threshold.
Angle of aperture - the further the thermometer is from the measuring point, the larger the surface area involved in the reading. This relationship between distance and target size is normally expressed as the ratio d:s (distance:spot). At a distance of 16cm, the reading spot will have a diameter of 2cm. The thermometer will read the average temperature of the entire area involved.
